We are very excited to announce the launch of Saving Lifes: First Aid for Sport Teachers and Coaches!
This new project aims to strengthen the first aid skills of sports teachers and coaches, contributing to a safer sporting environment for all those involved.
All project partners were in Bucharest last week, marking an important milestone for the project:
13 December – We held the first consortium meeting, where partners shared the project activities, roles, and timeline, laying the foundation for effective collaboration.
14 December – The first workshop, hosted at the Romanian-American University, brought together over 100 sports teachers and coaches eager to learn from expert speakers about first aid in sports settings.
The event featured leading Romanian doctors specializing in sports medicine and related disciplines, who addressed first aid techniques from multiple perspectives: general medicine, sports medicine, traumatology, and legal medicine, with additional insights from professionals in psychology and law
A special thank you to the Romanian-American University for hosting the first project event, to the volunteers for their invaluable support, and to all the speakers whose high-quality contributions continuously raised the level of the course.
We are confident that, together, we will work effectively and carry out many impactful and inspiring activities.
