On 17 October 2026, the Erasmus+ project “Saving Lives: First Aid for Sport Teachers and Coaches” continued its journey with the fourth international workshop, hosted in Madrid, Spain, by Red Deporte.

The event brought together project partners, sport professionals, teachers and coaches for a valuable day of learning, practical training and international exchange, focused on first aid in sports, the prevention and treatment of sports injuries, and improving safety for athletes and sport professionals.

The programme opened with a welcome and introduction by Carlos de Cárcer, followed by a dedicated First Aid Training Session led by Guillermo Murciano Albert, providing participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to help create safer sporting environments.

Beyond the training activities, the workshop was also an opportunity to review the project’s progress, share updates, exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation among partner organisations.

The last act will be in Bucarest(Romania) from 4th to 6th December hosted by Uiversita Romana-Americana for the final event and celebrate this intensive KA2 Project based on several workshops very important for the leader in Sport Clubs
