This last saturday all member partners arrived in Bari(ITA), for SpecialRacket TPM n.2, project with an ambitious aim: promote social inclusion through sport and adapted badminton.
In the morning we have been hosted by PalaCarrassi Sport Hall (always our thanks for their support!) where we discussed on our progressive Tasks:
the management and dissemination activity.
the development of training programme and the guide for parents of children with special need. Particular attention was given to methodological adaptation and ensuring the quality of the project’s outputs
In the afternoon with direction Santeramo in Colle(BA) to join a practical adapted badminton training session with n.10 athletes with special needs.
The session, led by the Asd Badminton coaches(great collaboration !)showcased practical methods and techniques to include children and young people with disabilities in sports activitity. It was an important opportunity to share ideas, reflections and impressions for the next steps of the project.
The meeting was successfully completed, confirming the strong commitment of all partners to the implementation of SPECIALRACKET
Through the joint efforts of all participating organizations, the project is becoming a key initiative for promoting social integration through sport.
